"SORRY ITS LONG, BUT A LASTING IMPRESSION WAS MADE ON THIS ‘ANTI STATE FARM’ WOMAN WHO TURNED ‘PRO STATE FARM’ WOMAN. I had been requesting quotes all week for my car insurance but I did not request a quote from State Farm because I had always heard it was the most expensive company. I had become extremely agitated and depressed in how high the premium was going to be and nobody could or would tell me why. Another car insurance company asked me if I had gotten a quote from State Farm and when I said no and told them why, their response was ‘You’d be surprised. You might want to give them a call.’ So I called. Jessica with Brian Brashear State Farm handled me with kid gloves because I was an emotional wreck and crying my eyes out knowing I would never be able to afford car insurance at the rates I had been quoted previously. I had lost my job, I had been in the hospital for 2 months off and on, sent to physical therapy another 2 months, plus daily trips to the hospital for 57 consecutive days of antibiotic infusions for an infection that began with a gash on my scalp when I hit my head on the underside of a shelf. A piece of that minor infection broke off into my bloodstream and decided to take up residence attached to my spine. But not before that minor infection turned into a deadly infection that almost turned me into a negative statistic. It now had a name though, now it became known as an epidural abscess attached to my lumbar spine. With the new name, came the fact that it was very rare, like 2 in 10,000 rare not to mention I was septic. They said its the most excruciating pain you can feel and still be conscious. I can vouch for that. Did I mention my walker was stolen out of my car and I needed it due to the partial paralysis in my hip and left leg the abscess on my spine caused? I was literally at my wits end. I was shot down at almost every request for help I made. But Jessica seemed like she felt my pain and frustration and answered every question without hesitation, told me a few things that I didn't think to ask, stayed on the phone not only as long as I had questions but as long as I was still crying and so very obviously upset. She never once acted like I was interrupting her day in the least or that there was anybody else more important she needed to talk to. Jessica cared and I needed that. Plus my premium ended up way cheaper than anywhere else for the same coverage if not a few extras. Thank you for your kindness and patience with me!! My day could have ended up a lot worse if it hadn’t been for the kindness, compassion and empathy I got from Jessica at Brian Brashear State Farm 🙂 DON’T OVERLOOK STATE FARM, TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!"
